INCS-CoE (https://incs-coe.org/) is the world’s first International Charter of six universities from Japan, U.S., and U.K., and is operated by the world’s top 25 universities from Japan, U.S., U.K., Israel, France, Australia, and other countries for international and inter-university research collaboration in cyber security. The INCS-CoE is implementing an international Capture The Flag (CTF) event for students enrolled in member universities under the title of Country-to-Country CTF (C2C CTF) in a five-year plan starting in 2020. The C2C CTF events have been successfully held at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK in FY2020, Ben-Gurion University and Israel Institute of Technology, Israel in FY2021, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA in FY2022.
In FY2023, Keio University will host the C2C CTF, which will be the first C2C CTF to be held in an in-person format, and we expect that many top-class researchers and excellent students, especially in the field of cyber security, from INCS-CoE member universities will visit Japan.
